Hall of Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park discovered a new lake area
of seven thousand square meters at the foot of Mount Semeru ,
precisely in the block Gunungan Jambangan , Lotus Resorts , Lumajang ,
namely Lake Tompe .One of the expedition team from the Center for Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park ( TNBTS ) who discovered the lake , Andi Iskandar on Wednesday , explaining the lakes have not been touched by humans and the landscape is very beautiful .
' To get to the lake is not easy because it must pass through terrain that is quite heavy , even in the region did not reveal any sewer or water eyes , ' he said , adding .
He explained that currently there is still no climbing lane to get to the lake , but if through Ranu Pane , it takes about four hours of travel time , even though the distance is only six kilometers . The condition is caused by a field that is quite heavy for visitors .
Andi said the Tompe lake located at an altitude 1,733 meters above sea level ( masl ) , with temperatures between 10.5 and 14 degrees Celsius .
In addition to its natural scenery is very beautiful , Andi , around Ranu Tompe also found a very rare biodiversity , such as Java Frog Part ( Batrachostomus javanensis ) , plant Pinang Jawa ( Pinang Javana Blume ) as well as various types of orchids and dragonflies .
According to him , the expedition team also found eight species of mammals and one species of primate in the new lake district . Around the lake also found footprints , scratches on trees and dirt Panthera Pardusmelas . she said .
While in the waters Ranu ondonata Tompe found five types , namely dragonfly needle consisting of green Capungsambar ( Orthetum sabina Drury ) , Capungsambar wanderer ( Pantala lavescens ) , Xiphiagrion cyanomelas , Agriocnemis sp , and Anacieschna montivagans .
Actually , Andi , where the Tompe Ranu had been known to the Tengger people around the 1980's , but the people who know are reluctant to touch the lake because the region is considered as the area is haunted . In fact , he said , residents around the lake with the name calling Tompe Ranu Ranu Ranu Lus or short Subtle Beings . ' Since it is considered haunted and inhabited by subtle makhlus reason, people are reluctant mendatangai lake sebenranya quite exotic and beautiful , ' he said , menendaskan .
Meanwhile, Chief TNBTS Ayu Dewi Utari added in Indonesia , five kinds of dragonflies are in the area just Ranu Tompe . In the area of the lake was also found about 50 species of flora and 20 fauna very rare . ( Ant / rd )
